help us

There are many ways you can help us, from making a once-off donation to becoming a volunteer. Although some of our projects are still in their infancy, many are already making a real difference to the lives of our community. If you would like to help, you can...

...make a once-off donation

As a non-profit organisation, the vast majority of our income comes from donors. Whether large or small, donations allow us to establish and develop our projects. This means, as a donor, you will be contributing directly towards improving the lives of our community. You are welcome to specify a particular project to which you would like to donate to.

If you are based in the UK, you can donate via www.givengain.com

Thank you to all our donors so far, particularly Breadline Africa, Rhodes Scholars Southern Africa Forum, and Fabricated Steel Manufacturing Company.

...become a 'Friend of Zithulele'

Why not become a 'Friend of Zithulele' by making regular monthly, quarterly or annual donations to help us support our local community?

Regular donations are extremely important to the Jabulani Rural Health Foundation, helping us to plan, budget and employ staff – all of which leads to the sustainability of our projects. For monthly commitments of R100 or more, we will send you a Jabulani factsheet and our quarterly newsletter.

If you are interested in becoming a valued 'Friend of Zithulele', please send us an email specifying how much you would like to give and how often, and we will be in touch. Should you wish to remain anonymous, there is no need to email us at all – simply set up a standing order with our bank. When donating, if you would prefer to choose a particular project to donate to, please indicate this clearly as a reference when setting up the transaction. If you are a South African citizen, donations are tax deductible under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act.

UK and European donors are now able to donate via our registered UK charity of the same name, Jabulani Rural Health Foundation. The UK charity has been established with the same goals, namely supporting Zithulele Hospital and its community. An added benefit for donating to our UK charity (if you are a UK taxpayer) is that the charity can claim Gift Aid on your donations. Jabulani Rural Health Foundation is a registered charity in England and Wales (number 1124928). European donors will need to use the BIC or IBAN numbers below.

...volunteer

Jabulani Rural Health Foundation is actively seeking volunteers. As a growing organisation, we need people on the ground who are prepared to get involved in one or many of our projects, or behind the scenes in an administrative role. Volunteering is a great way to make a meaningful contribution to our community and experience life in the rural Eastern Cape. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, drop us a mail. We prefer volunteers to stay with us for at least two months.

...pray

We believe in the power of prayer.
We ask you to include our projects and community in yours.
