In 2009 we launched basic computer classes. We started with 6 students from Sea View High School and with two ladies from the community. As most people from the area have never even turned on a computer before, we needed to cover the basic fundamentals which most of us take for granted. As the saying goes "there is no such thing as a free lunch", students are required to do one hour of work in the community in exchange for 1 hour of computer lessons. Community work has included, litter clean up, tree planting, removal of alien vegetation and assisting at the local creche.
